4.     Communities are involved in the selection of learners and facilitators for the literacy classes.

THE WAY FORWARD

The innovation and the way forward of the District are:

1.     To ensure the realization of the basic human right of education for all.

3.     To promote alternate education to those who lack opportunity to acquire formal schooling.

4.     To overcome literacy and numeracy problems.

5.     To provide functional literacy education for adults who have never had the opportunity of any formal education.

6.     To give talks based on topics in our primer to illiterate/literate self employed women and apprentices.

7.     The district is looking forward for funding/help from its partners to enable us strengthen the capacity of the district to achieve its objectives.
